Lucid Group (NASDAQ:LCID) is on watch after a new recall of vehicles was announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The electric vehicle will recall about 5,251 of its 2022-2023 Air luxury sedans due to a software error that could cause a loss of power and about 7,506 of its 2022-2024 Air luxury sedans due to an issue with a coolant heater that could fail to defrost the windshield.
Earlier in the month, Lucid Group (LCID) released an over-the-air software update to fix a software error and issued an update to identify a high voltage coolant heater failure.
Shares of Lucid Group (LCID) were down 0.65% in premarket trading on Tuesday. The EV stock jumped 7.85% on Monday after its Q2 deliveries report was received well by investors. Lucid (LCID) said it produced 2,110 vehicles and delivered 2,394 vehicles during this period. The tally was higher than the 1,728 vehicles produced in Q1, while the deliveries mark was much higher than the same quarter a year ago. The company said it will release its full Q2 earnings report on August 5.
