- Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has filed a petition with a Chinese court in an effort to tweak a ruling that the company won, as it says the tech giant has a “dominant position” in the app market, Bloomberg reported.
- Apple wants China’s highest court to remove the references from the decision that a lower court dismissed in May amid a lack of evidence, the news outlet added, citing the filing. The company also has issues with the “unfair pricing may hurt consumers” phrasing in the lower court’s decision. The company takes a percentage of revenue from developers across the world when a user downloads a paid app or purchases in-app items.
