Cal-Maine Foods acquires egg production assets of ISE America for $110M

Cal-Maine Foods (NASDAQ:CALM) Friday announces the acquisition of substantially all the assets of ISE America, Inc. and certain affiliates for approximately $110 million.
Cal-Maine Foods is financing the transaction with cash on hand, which comprises ISE assets such as commercial shell egg production, processing facilities, feed mills, land, inventories, and an egg product breaking plant.
The acquired assets also include an extensive customer distribution network across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, and production operations in Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware and South Carolina.
