The U.S. Army awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) a multi-year contract worth $4.5B for its Patriot Missile air defense system, the Pentagon said Friday.
The contract covers 870 PAC-3 MSE missiles and associated hardware.
The award “follows through on the Army’s commitment to stabilize and expand our production capability for this critical weapon system, which is vital to supporting the U.S. Army and Joint Force, along with Ukraine and other allies around the world.”
