Logitech International’s (NASDAQ:LOGI) founder is pushing for the company’s chair Wendy Becker to be replaced.
Logitech founder Daniel Borel wants to replace Becker with Guy Gecht as chair at the company’s annual meeting in September as he’s looking for a board member with more tech industry experience, according to a Bloomberg report, which cited a letter sent to the company on Monday.
Borel, who says he more than 1% stake in Logitech, also voted against Becker’s re-election at last year’s annual meeting.
Logitech didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from Bloomberg.
Logitech (LOGI) shares have jumped more than 60% last year even after the company’s CEO unexpectedly departed last June, which prompted the company’s stock to fall 11% on June 14, 2023.
