NASA on Thursday said it had awarded Leidos (NYSE:LDOS) with a $476.5M contract to provide mission support for the space agency’s International Space Station Program, Artemis campaign, and others.
The total potential value of the contract has a base period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2026, followed by three option periods.
The cargo mission contract includes a cost-plus-fixed-fee core with an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality component. It also provides for the capability to issue cost-plus-fixed-fee or firm-fixed-price task orders.
In the contract, Leidos is responsible for providing analytics and physical processing for NASA missions, and perform engineering, maintenance, and operations support. Leidos will also implement the space station and Artemis manifest requirements for launch, return and disposal. The company will also support logistical and integration functions to maintain adequate crew provisions and supplies to sustain human presence in space.
