- Raytheon Technologies, a unit of RTX (NYSE:RTX), on Thursday said it was awarded a $1.2 billion contract to supply Germany with additional Patriot air and missile defense systems.
- The Patriot order is the second one for Germany this year.
- The contract includes the most current Patriot Configuration 3+ radars, launchers, command and control stations, associated spares and support.
- Nineteen countries including Germany, the United States and Ukraine use the Patriot system for air defense.
